The Art of Shaping Steel
Working with steel is more than a craft for me. It is a way of thinking.
I cut, forge, and weld each sculpture by hand in my workshop. Steel may seem rigid and unforgiving, yet under heat and pressure it becomes responsive. That transformation fascinates me every time. Strength and movement exist in the same material, and I try to reveal that balance in every piece.
My sculptures are created individually. Some designs return in small series, others remain one of a kind, but each work carries the marks of the process and subtle differences that make it unique.
Creating art is also a discipline. It demands patience, focus, and persistence. In the workshop, time slows down. Fire, metal, and repetition shape not only the material, but also the maker.
I value handmade work in all its forms, whether shaped from metal, wood, clay, or textile. Craft connects us to something honest and enduring.
If you are looking for a sculpture made for a specific space, I welcome custom projects. Size, color, finish, or a new concept — we can develop it together.
