Bethany's Knit Shop began with a simple knitting kit my mom mailed to me after I moved across the country. What started as a way to fill my evenings quickly became a lifelong passion. More than 20 years later, I'm still inspired by the joy of turning beautiful yarn into cozy, meaningful pieces that bring warmth and color to everyday life.
Every item in my shop is hand knit by me from start to finish—one stitch at a time. I carefully choose soft, high-quality yarns and modern stitch patterns that create pieces you'll reach for again and again. While knitting may look relaxing (and it is!), each scarf, wash cloth, and accessory takes hours of careful work, attention to detail, and plenty of coffee before it's ready to find its new home.
I love creating colorful, modern knitwear that feels timeless rather than trendy. Many of my scarves feature reversible stitch patterns, making them just as beautiful from either side, and every piece is thoughtfully designed to be both practical and gift-worthy. Each item is handmade in small batches, so you're getting something created with intention—not mass-produced.
When I'm not knitting, you'll usually find me teaching, reading a good book with a cup of coffee nearby, or exploring the beautiful mountains around Flagstaff, Arizona, with my family and our dog. Those quiet, cozy moments inspire so much of what I create.
