5 out of 5 starsThis planter pot is gorgeous!! It's solid but not too heavy, the way the colors blend is absolutely beautiful, and they even put a little bit of mesh over the drainage hole to prevent soil running out with the water. I love the size of it, and the look of the subtle speckling. It was very carefully packaged and arrived quickly. I am so happy to have this!

5 out of 5 starsI bought this coffee set for my son as a birthday gift. It’s perfect and I know he will love it. Very nicely crafted and the colors are amazing. Fast shipping, too! I love supporting Texas artists - especially those fairly local to me. Keep up the gorgeous work!

Care instructions
Ceramic drinkware is microwave and dishwasher safe unless otherwise specified. However, the ceramic will warm up when it has a hot liquid inside of it. If the drink is too hot to drink, this cup may be too hot to hold with bare skin. Any ceramic container without a handle is NOT for use with beverages hotter than 120°F. If you enjoy drinking hot liquids, please use a mug with a handle.
Bonsai pots and planters are frost and freeze safe unless otherwise specified.
Cleaning Sip-top Cups:
Water bottle brushes are a great way to get into this cup if it needs a good scrub. For a hardcore deep-clean: soak the entire cup in soapy hot water for an hour. Scrub with a water bottle brush, rinse thoroughly and sanitize in dishwasher.
Custom and personalized orders
Custom work is taken on a case by case basis depending on my current schedule and commitments. Custom work is limited to recoloring existing designs, I am not currently available to create new forms for custom orders. Planters generally cannot be recolored, because I throw their shapes very randomly.
Lead-free and non-toxic
Lead is not used in any part of my practice. Everything I make is non-toxic and lead-free. In general, lead is not a concern in modern artisan ceramic ware made in the United States, as it poses extreme risk to the ceramicist.
As an additional fun fact, lead is still used in overseas commercial ceramic production, including dinnerware and drinkware. So, you are much more likely to find a lead based glaze on a shelf at a big-box retail store than in any handmade work (and it will not be labeled). Lead may also be found in antique ceramic work that was made prior to 1970.
Organic not machine perfect work
All of my work is made with my own hands, in my home studio, right here in Texas. There is no drop-shipper overseas pumping these out of a machine. Thus, my work has an organic nature that shows a human has used their hands to make the work. Every piece is not exactly identical in shape/size, not every rim is perfectly round, and every handle has a slightly unique feel. I would like to be transparent and honest about the inherent humanity in my work, as I see it as a positive style aspect that adds to the experience of what makes a piece of ceramic craft handmade and human.
Fraudulent Grifters & Knock-off Scammers
Unsavory folks across the internet have been using my product photography to promote the sale of, honestly, I don't even know what. All of my work is made by my own hands in my home studio, and my glazes are my own unique formulations, making my genuine authentic work irreplicable.
So, if you see my photos being used to sell work anywhere other than my Etsy shop (etsy.com/shop/bluenosetrading), or my personal website (bluenosetrading.com), you are likely going to get scammed. These are the only places (other than in person) where I sell my work. Please don't get scammed, that would just stink.
