Hello, and welcome to Bohemian Bead Box.
I'm Cath, and from my workshop in Denbigh, North Wales, I spend my days surrounded by one of my great loves: Czech glass beads.
There's nothing quite like them. For generations, the bead-makers of Bohemia have perfected their craft - pressing, cutting and finishing tiny pieces of glass into beads with a depth of colour and quality you simply can't find anywhere else. Delicate leaves, millefiori flowers, glossy rounds and little glass creatures: each one is a small work of art. I find them irresistible, and I think you might too.
Bohemian Bead Box began with a simple idea - that hunting for beautiful beads should feel like opening a treasure box. That's why our curated mixes are at the very heart of the shop: thoughtfully put-together blends of colour, shape and finish, so every order brings a little surprise and a lot of inspiration. Whether you're a seasoned jewellery maker, an embroiderer, a crafter, or simply someone who loves lovely things, there's a box here for you.
Every order is hand-picked, carefully checked and packed by me, right here in Wales. When you buy from a small shop like mine, you're not reaching a faceless warehouse - you're reaching a real person who genuinely cares that your beads arrive perfectly, and who's quietly delighted every single time.
Our little dragonfly is our emblem: a nod to bright wings and brighter colours, and to the quiet magic of making something beautiful with your hands.
