This item is definitely beautiful. If you like the style, and you want to use glass beads instead knots for your prayers, then this item will give you exactly what you want. But I should offer a word of warning for newbies; I'm experimenting with different types of prayer ropes/beads, and I find that these glass beads can actually begin irritating my skin a lot faster than a satin or wool prayer rope. But there is a satisfying weight to these, and it won't stretch or bend in awkward ways. Now, to be brutally honest, there is some tough competition for best prayer tool on etsy. For a similar price range, you can purchase prayer ropes every bit as beautiful as this, except made by nuns and blessed on holy relics. It is mainly because of the high standards it is competing against that I can't bring myself to give a full 5 stars.
