When my second child was on the road, I knew that I wouldn't go back to my work as a media computer scientist anytime soon. Since I can't sit still for a minute, I've always devoted my free time to the creative things in life – and during parental leave, I started writing down my ideas on my blog on bunte-galerie.de.

In my ambition to write tutorials that everyone can understand and later also books at frechverlag, I spent countless hours, days and nights on paper or in front of the iPad. Many letterings and graphics have been created, some ideas have matured into finished works of art.

I now offer the best tutorials and illustrations in my shop. Some of them I created especially for Etsy - like the brushlettering and hand lettering tutorials. The watercolors and printables were created partly out of curiosity, partly as decoration for the house. And so I continue to write and paint, upload the little artworks to Etsy and am happy like a child every time someone buys an article and tells me: I like what you do. Thanks!

Als mein zweites Kind unterwegs war, wusste ich, dass ich so schnell nicht mehr zurück zu meiner Arbeit als Medieninformatikerin gehen würde. Da ich keine Minute still sitzen kann, habe ich mich in meiner Freizeit schon immer den kreativen Dingen des Lebens gewidmet - und in der Elternzeit begann ich, meine Ideen in meinem Blog auf bunte-galerie.de niederzuschreiben.

In meinem Ehrgeiz, für jedermann verständliche Tutorials und später auch Bücher beim frechverlag zu schreiben, habe ich unzählige Stunden, Tage und Nächte über dem Papier oder vor dem iPad verbracht. Viele Letterings und Grafiken sind entstanden, einige Ideen zu fertigen Kunstwerken gereift.

Die besten Tutorials und Illustrationen biete ich nun in meinem Shop an. Einige davon habe ich extra für Etsy erstellt - wie die Brushlettering und Handlettering Tutorials. Die Aquarelle und Printables sind zum Teil aus Neugier, zum Teil als Deko für‘s Haus entstanden. Und so lettere und male ich weiter, lade die kleinen Kunstwerke auf Etsy hoch und freue mich jedes Mal wie ein Kind, wenn jemand einen Artikel kauft und mir damit sagt: mir gefällt, was Du machst.
