The roving is exactly what I expected- silky & well prepared, packaged nicely. There was some fragrance to it upon opening the package- perhaps from the wool wash. The seller was super quick with shipping and very responsive! I blended some of the roving to add strength to my springy wool for handspun socks, and it is knitting up beautifully with a heathered look. I am hoping it will improve how well the socks wear over time.

Beautiful fiber. I just pulled some of the Merlot locks and the lightness came out... smells good too. It will produce beautiful lace.

Super fast delivery and perfectly protected in a plastic drawstring bag w/in the mailer. The yarn is a dream - incredibly soft, silky, and you just want to bury your face in it. It was giving off a strong pong of artificial scent, so I plan to wash the next time I crack open the plastic bag. I'm eager to use this!
