First of all, "who is Carmilita?"
Why it is ME of course, and You of course, that is, if you are a bead jewelry lover. We all float up in the air, sitting on a cloud seductively with all our bead jewelry surrounding us. Won't you join us, Carmilita says? And begin to enjoy the world of bead jewelry just as we do. It is one of the most beautiful and "mystical" forms of art the wearer as well as whoever sees YOU will ever be able to enjoy.
The origin of the name Carmilita spelled Carmelita is a Hebrew name, a shorter version would be Carmel or as I spell it, Carmil long popular in Ireland. It is of Spanish origin.
Jewelry making of all kinds is a form of art. I wear the bead jewelry I make not so much to beautify myself, but to enjoy the beauty of the piece itself. For me when I look into the mirror at whatever piece of bead jewelry I am wearing at the moment, I see it as if I am looking at a beautiful painting hanging on the wall, an exquisite piece of art made from my own hands.
I usually choose colors for beading that I like to wear in clothing so just about any piece I choose to wear will match whatever I am wearing elsewhere.
Bead jewelry especially is fine pieces of art so far as I am concerned as these are my favorite types of jewelry art, but all jewelry are small masterpieces of exquisite art.
You will find drop and dangle earrings of all kinds, bracelets and 3 piece sets here in my shop.

On my video channels and on the blog I try to communicate the history of jewelry as being an exquisite form of art along with bits and pieces of other information about jewelry and beading in particular. My main message is to enjoy jewelry art not only to beautify ourselves but as much as we enjoy a fine work of art displayed on our walls or in any museum. I decorate my home with jewelry art (in specific places). I have a goal to display some of it behind glass just as I display fine china teacups and vintage dolls.
Collect it and enjoy it even if you cannot wear every piece of it daily. Some pieces of bead jewelry actually looks better displayed behind glass wrapped around other favorite items or just any way you desire to display it.
There are so many beautiful pieces of jewelry art, none of us could ever wear it all, so find you a corner and display it behind glass just as you would find in fine museums across the world.
