When Cheeky Vintage Closet was created in 2008, our desire was to find and share vintage goodies.
The name was chosen because I have a huge desire to pinch face cheeks. I have no idea why, but I love to pinch babies and kids cheeks. Haylie said 'Cheeky' and a shop was born.

Shared memories of a Grandma who was a perfect house wife of the 50's and 60's created my passion for linens, cards, hankies, gloves, jewelry and bags. She was always in a frock and when Grandpa returned for dinner, she was dressed and table was set.

A child of the 60s, I loved fashion for as long as I can remember. Accessories were a great way to create a fun look. Born a shopper, I can remember shopping for school, vacations and holidays. We were always dressed for every outing.

In the 70s I was in mid and high school. Wow, can't believe how much I still loved fashion! My house was redecorated often, so I have great memories of home goodies. I was always very aware of my surroundings.

The 80s were when college was ending and wow, I had my first job. First thing to do, go shopping! Decorate first condo and dress for success. Many trends for day and night were created in this era.

The 90s were about succeeding and still shopping.

I have great recollections of all the trends for fashion and home from the 60s to current. This helps make dating fashion easy, and finding collections fun.
