5 out of 5 starsThe hammered copper teapot is perfect. The workmanship and detail is beautiful! The outside color is a deep, rich copper and the markings are consistent. Didn’t get a good look at the spout but it’s probably forged decorative brass or bronze. Fit and finish on the handle and bail is tight. Very nice all around.

Copper is a delicate metal and needs care and cleaning. As soon as you start using it, it will develop stains/patina. It would develop marks just by touching it. Some people like copper patina as it adds character to the copper item.
But if you like your copper shiny, you can use copper cleaner or a salt-lemon mixture to polish your copper to a shine.
Cleaning Before Use
Copper objects are not cleaned or washed after production. Wash the product thoroughly as usual with warm water and a mild detergent and rub by hand. Dry immediately with a soft cotton cloth to avoid staining.
Are the products copper or plated?
All our copper products are made of pure, solid copper!
Occasionally, you may see some marks on the product or along the joints. This is actually normal for copper items, as it can happen with all handmade products.
