Cosine Additive is an emerging 3d printing company that builds and sells giant printers and 3d printing services. Cosine was started by Andrew and I (Jason), two twenty-somethings who spent their childhoods building machines, rockets, and other contraptions in their garages. We believe these experiences shaped us into the engineers we are today and we are very excited to offer our guidance and help to students in Cosine's internship program.
In the past year we have employed over 40 students from area universities and technical schools. We have taught them all manner of skills from printed circuitboard design, mechanical design through Solidworks, programming in C/C# to operating 3d printers. We are very proud of our interns and the working culture we enjoy at Cosine!
Your purchase of 3d printed parts through our Etsy shop goes directly to fund our internships. Not only does it provide the dollars necessary to pay intern wages, it gives them example parts to design, setup and print. The side benefits of managing a small Etsy store, interacting with customers and getting a taste of what is involved in running a business, are a bonus!
