Years ago, I was given boxes of vintage sheet music from my in-laws as they had moved out to a senior facility. I was not excited because we had a small home with no extra storage. On top of this, we still had our own unpacked stuff filled one of our rooms.
I tried to sell the paper as it originally was on Ebay, but it was too much work and sales were slow. Luckily, I stumbled upon Etsy and soon after Crafty Paper Things was started!!
I learnt how to craft paper, and fold origami during high school. After becoming an adult and a stay-at-home mom, you never have your own time anymore.
I started this shop while taking full time care of my young kids. It was very difficult to keep up, but I love what I do. My my kids are growing beautifully, so is my little shop.
Crafty Paper Things is bringing back my daily joys and saving my identity from disappearing after staying home for many years.
Thank you for visiting my little shop. I hope you find something you like here . Feel free to reach out!!

5 out of 5 starsI forgot to take a picture, but the flowers were so cute! I bought these as a gift for my best friend who loves ACOTAR. The seller messaged me, notifying me that the tag she placed on them was the wrong book series, but that was no problem! I thought it was nice of her to reach for the mistake. My friend loved the roses!! She placed them in a cute little vase, and it completed her bookshelf! Highly recommend!

5 out of 5 starsThe item was very well packed inside a reused box (we love that this small business chooses to reuse packing materials!). Arisa was flexible when it came to matching the origami color with my overall wedding theme, and I appreciate that so much. She even made sure that the shipping would get to me on time. I highly recommend this business!

5 out of 5 starsOur wedding guests absolutely ADORED the origami crane place holders! We received so many compliments! Most of our guests took theirs home as a souvenir. The paper patterns are very beautiful. My photo doesn't do them justice. The seller was responsive too. If you're looking for unique wedding decor, please consider these cranes!

Frequently asked questions
How is my vintage ad shipped?
All ads is shipped in the protective plastic sleeve with two cardboards backing.
Please note that I may reuse boxes/cardboards.
How do you ship origami items?
Eco-friendly, recycled material, and minimal waste packaging is my preference. Your item(s) will be securely packed, and filled with cushioning materials as needed.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes, I do! I like to work on new and different kind of paper and pattern. However, I don't alway have the materials you need on hand, so it may take longer to finish. Feel free to contact me for discussion if your request can be met.
Why are my items taking so long?
With the exception of paper supplies, my handmade items are made to order which means they can take from 1 day to 3 weeks depending on product types, quantities, and my current order workload. I regularly update my turnaround time to reflect my current workload, as seen on each listing before checking out.
