Due to the nature of these items and the unpredictability of pets, I can not accept returns/exchanges of custom items intended for/used or damaged by you or your pet. This includes chewing, washing damage or incorrect usage of item. I do not replace/refund items with zippers broken/damaged due to rough use, pet chewing or getting caught/yanked during use or wash; only if the zipper was already damaged/defective when you first received it.

Any return accepted for reasons other than defect, the buyer is responsible for return shipping and all items must be received in original UNUSED condition. Any refund given will be for the items only and not include original shipping costs; and I charge a $5 restocking fee for my time and effort.

All fleece, cotton, and flannel items can be machine washed on cold/gentle cycle (even the vinyl). However, items will last longer if air dried and less likely to pill or stretch. For serious staining I recommend a soak with dawn dish soap and vinegar to kill enzymes before washing to get rid of the vinegar smell. Wash in laundry bag if your washer snags zippers!

As with any fleece item/cage sets, wear over time is expected so please regularly check your fleece item for loose threads, holes or tears to avoid dangerous hang-ups with your pet's nails, especially if your pet is a 'chewer.' Pet damage is always a possibility and Created Moments is not responsible for any issues associated or caused by pet damage or incorrect usage of an item.

I welcome custom and personalized orders. I am happy to look into and purchase new fabrics on request. The cost of the fabric is usually included in the item price except if it is a licensed or customized fabric.

Customized items are unique to each buyer's needs, this means once an order has been taken and fabric pulled/cut to your specific requests, I can't use this fabric for anything else. Each item takes time and pre-planning to reserve fabric, cut out the patterns in the appropriate size and add any additional modifications (add-ons). Because of this, once your order has been started I will not cancel, as a small business I can't afford it.

For sanitary reasons I can not accept returns or exchanges of any item, nor would I want to resell a product 'tried out' by another animal. Even if returned in UNUSED condition, some items maybe harder to list/resell - especially customized items with modifications/colors someone else would never choose.

Turn-Around for all custom orders is about 2 weeks. This is currently the speed at which I can turn out CUSTOM, quality, hand-made items. Custom items take TIME to plan out and piece together. How quickly I finish an order is affected by how complicated the pattern is and the number of items/orders I receive in a week. As orders increase/decrease so does the turnaround time. I keep a standard 8-5 work week with weekends off for family, but life happens (health, family, holidays) so I hope you'll be understanding if there is a delay. I sew items in the order received and do not bump or move up orders on request. If I have time to get an order out sooner I will try, but not at the expense of someone else's order or my current work schedule.

Grommets and pet mesh are used in my bonding scarves for added air-flow. Grommets are small metal rings secured in the fabric and pet mesh is a flexible screen made of polyester and PVC coating that is pet safe. Pet Mesh screen is the most effective for air flow and adds a 'window' for your pet to look out while the grommets are a good alternative if your pet is a chewer and you are afraid your pet might chew on the mesh. I add one OR the other to the backside of the scarf to maintain a clean look to the front. The option to add them to a scarf is free and a personal preference but I do not add both to an item as its purpose would be redundant. Grommets are the alternative (replacement) to pet mesh for chewers.

I would start by measuring your pet before ordering anything to make sure it's the right size. Every item I offer has it's measurements listed in several places so you can easily compare it to your pets' size and see what will work best. I am happy to offer an opinion if asked (or best guess, I am not an expert on every animal), but it really depends on what you are looking for and what your specific breed of pet needs. I can not measure your pet for you so in the end I do expect the owners to be responsible for knowing what will or wont work for their size/type of animal and to check the measurements of each item. If an item is not quite the right size for what you need, please feel free to ask about customization or a possible adjustment.

Maybe! I have to limit how much of a pattern I make available in any one listing so I don't accidentally over-sell it across all my listing types. By carrying so many pattern options, and types of items, I have to be careful not to sell multiple items in a pattern I have a limited supply of. I do this by only offering one of each pattern in a listing and then, usually ONCE a week, I re-evaluate what I have left and renew those patterns I still have enough stock of. So please feel free to ask about a pattern that is listed as 'sold out' because I may have more. This is not ALWAYS the case though, some patterns cannot be renewed if the suppliers are no longer offering it or are currently sold out of it.

If your pet is a determined chewer, a metal zipper is not going to stop them and may instead cause serious damage to your pet! Chewing is so frustrating, but I still do not recommend metal zippers (or at least use with caution!) for any small animal. The issue with these is that if your pet does chew on the metal zipper they can do real damage to their mouth/gums and teeth. This includes the possibility of chipping a tooth or getting one caught/stuck in between the metal teeth and panicking - It's why I don't offer metal zippers. Also, it takes a smart pet very little time to realize those metal teeth are STILL sewn into a cloth fabric and they can chew around them causing the same exact issue in roughly the same amount of time.

All shipping is tracked and you will receive a tracking number to follow. After a package leaves my hands I no longer have any control over it and we are not responsible for shipping delays, lost, damaged or stolen packages. Please be sure to have an updated/current address BEFORE you check out! Any returned shipments due to an incorrect or undeliverable addresses will be held until a new shipping payment has been made, I will NOT reship for free. I am also not responsible for delivery to an incorrect/old address or package loss as a result. Your Post Office will hold packages for in-person pick-up if you are are concerned about theft, or forward mail if you realize there has been an address mistake while your package is in-transit.
