Passion Hobby Turned into Online Business
Hi, I am Shri and this is my story of how a Passion/Hobby Turned into Online Business. I started learning about ceramics in 2019. I bought a small kiln, pottery wheel and some materials to experiment with during Covid pandemic. My goal was to keep my kiddos occupy with some creativity during lockdown. I started offering my kits to family/friends and neighborhood families during pandemic. Needless to say, it was an instant hit. This gave me an idea to start my Etsy shop and looking back it was one of the best decisions of my life.
Initially I was focusing on art kits for kids but soon I realize how important it is to have a creative outlet for adults. I started offering more options that was good for all ages. In no time my shop was catering custom paint kits for team-building events, church groups, family reunions, school events, summer camps etc. My pottery kits were featured in Property Brother's Reveal magazine in their 2021 Holiday Gifts guide.
What I love most about my work is knowing that my paint kits are bringing families, friends, teammates together on a virtual or physical platform where they paint, laugh and share feelings while creating own masterpieces.
Thank you for reading my story.
