Frequently asked questions

What skill level are these patterns for?

Most of our patterns are designed for Beginner to Intermediate crafters. Our mission is to help you, so we include clear instructions and tips to help you master the project even if it's your first time.

Is this a finished product or a PDF?

This is a Digital PDF Pattern only. You will not receive a physical item in the mail. Once purchased, you can download the file instantly and start crafting right away.

How do I download my pattern?

After payment is confirmed, Etsy will send you an email with a download link. You can also find your file by going to Your Account > Purchases and Reviews on the Etsy website.

Can I sell the items I make from your patterns?

Yes, absolutely! We want you to succeed. You have full permission to sell the finished items you create at craft fairs or online. We only ask that you do not resell or share the PDF file itself.

Are your patterns written in US or UK terms?

All DFYCraft patterns are written in standard US Crochet Terms, as they are the most commonly used worldwide for crafters.

What if I get stuck on a specific stitch?

Don't worry! We are here to guide you. If you find a part of the pattern confusing, send us a message via Etsy. We aim to respond within 24 hours to help you move forward.

Do your patterns include photos or videos?

Yes! Our "Done-For-You" approach means we include high-quality step-by-step photos for tricky parts. Some patterns also include links to video tutorials for specific techniques.

What materials will I need?

Each pattern listing has a "Materials" section. Generally, you will need a crochet hook, yarn, a tapestry needle, and scissors. Specific yarn weights and hook sizes are mentioned inside the PDF.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Due to the nature of digital downloads, we cannot offer refunds once the file is accessed. However, if you have any issues with the file, please contact us and we will make it right.

How does my purchase help the "1 Million" mission?

Every purchase supports our goal of providing affordable, high-quality education to makers worldwide. You aren't just a buyer; you are officially one of the 1 Million Crafters we aim to build by 2026 and beyond.
