Debby's intricate and distinctly feminine designs are influenced by the various time periods ranging from the Renaissance era through the Art Deco era. Debby's designs incorporate religious icons, whimsical French collages, inspirational quotes and sparkling gemstones, beads and stunning vintage rhinestones. Most jewelry components begin as objects found at flea markets, antique shops or rummage sales. These vintage pieces are then repurposed by altering the finish, adding paint, deconstructing or combining the pieces in unique configurations. All of Debby's creations are original and developed organically without sketches or the use of computer-aided design programs. Each piece takes on its own identity as Debby works through each step of her designs, therefore telling a continuous story with sophisticated elegance. Her designs are never complete until the back is as pretty as the front.

Debby Anderson is a self-taught jewelry designer who works out of her home studio in Desert Hot Springs, California. Debby began her design career approximately 10 years ago with the creation of her jewelry business, Romancing the Bling. Debby's beautiful, ornate and handcrafted jewelry has been published in the prestigious Jewelry Affaire magazine, as wells a being featured in Cloth Paper Scissors magazine, and has also been featured on the nationally televised Today Show.

Debby is also the licensed designer of her past product line Vintage Romance by Debby Anderson ~ Michael Stores (US & Canada)

Debby is a Relics & Artifacts Design Team Ambassador for Sandra Evertson's fabulous product line, as well as a Prima Marketing, Inc. Educator.

Debby teaches jewelry workshops in San Diego and within the US, as well as at Art Retreats hosted by Art is You, Santa Rosa, CA, Vivi Magoo ( LA & Tucson) & BABE (Bay Area Bead Extravaganza) in Oakland, CA. Debby is in her 4th year on faculty with Artful Gathering Online Retreats and offers two Online Workshops each year. She currently has 5 DVD collections available on the Artful Gathering website.
