Delectable Hills Farm is a small mountain farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
For 30 years I have been a traditional handweaver. My Scottish ancestors were involved in traditional fiber crafts.
Each of my textiles are created solely on hand looms using natural fibers of cotton, linen or wool, and woven in historic weaving drafts.
My work involves the strategic use of fiber and color as well as meticulous attention to detail and technique.
Rag rugs, towels, table runners, placemats, chenille washcloths, mugrugs and potholders are all well made items i weave for you to enjoy in your home.
i also raise and milk dairy goats.
We have been raising Toggenburg dairy goats since 1995.
Our Goat Milk Soaps are handmade using the rich goat milk, tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, vitamin E, essential oils, and herbs.
Each bar is handcut, so every bar of soap is unique.
All of our soap is cured for a minimum of 4 weeks.
Goat milk soap is very gentle and is beneficial for people with sensitive skin.
