From my small workshop to your kitchen
Welcome to DiamondWoodMax.
My name is Max, and I hand carve functional kitchen tools from natural hardwood — walnut, maple, and other selected species — in my small one-man workshop.
The Design Philosophy
I have a deep passion for woodworking and one simple goal: to give unusual, ergonomic shapes to ordinary kitchen tools. Many of the designs you see here — spoons, spatulas, scoops, and ladles — are original shapes I developed myself. I don't just make kitchen utensils. I create handmade wooden tools that feel like a natural extension of your hand, and that bring a little pleasure to everyday cooking.
The Craft Process
Every single item is strictly hand carved by me using traditional methods — axe and knife . No mass production. Each piece starts as a raw block of wood and is shaped entirely by hand.
The Finish
I pay special attention to the surface. Every hand carved wooden spoon or spatula is thoroughly sanded until it reaches a silky smooth finish. To protect the wood and keep it food-safe, I coat each piece with a blend of linseed oil and beeswax that I prepare myself — 100% natural and non-toxic.
Every Piece Is One of a Kind
Because each item is carved by hand from a unique piece of wood, no two are exactly alike. The grain, the color, the subtle variations in shape — these are not imperfections. They are what makes each piece yours.
I hope these tools bring you as much satisfaction in the kitchen as I feel while creating them.
