I have always been passionate about vintage treasures, miniatures, and creating beautiful things by hand. My love of tiny worlds and nostalgic keepsakes inspired the idea for my Dollies in Tins collection. The idea came about when I was searching for a special little doll for my granddaughter and simply couldn't find what I had imagined. I wanted something small enough to slip into her pocket and take wherever she went—a tiny companion to keep her company and make her smile throughout the day.
I've always been someone who carries little treasures in my pockets. Even now, you're likely to find a Barbie shoe, a marble, a tiny cube, or a beautiful piece of china tucked away with me. I find endless inspiration in vintage kitsch, forgotten trinkets, and all the tiny objects that spark memories and imagination.
Creating has been a lifelong passion and profession. My original trade was designing and making wedding gowns and christening wear, where I developed a love for exquisite details, fine fabrics, lace, and traditional craftsmanship. Over the years, this evolved into making baby sundresses and children's clothing, and today that same attention to detail can be found in every piece I create.
Each item in my shop is lovingly handmade and inspired by a gentler, more nostalgic time. Whether it's a miniature treasure, a pocket-sized companion, or a beautifully dressed little doll, I hope my creations bring a touch of joy, comfort, and childhood magic to those who discover them.
