Welcome to Don’t Worry Beady Happy. My name is Hiroko and I am a qualified Pharmacist and Homeopath.
I worked as a Pharmacist for a long time in Japan and was getting interested in Complementary and Alternative Medicines. I came to London to study Homeopathy and completed the degree in 2010. Through my homeopathic journey, I am also interested in flower remedies, crystals and other alternative therapies and spiritual subjects. Healing of art is my passion!
I married a South African plumber and live in London now. We have travelled to South Africa and I sourced a lot of gemstone beads from the mines.
I loved Astrology and gemstones when I was little. I used to make bracelets, necklaces and earrings for my friends and family.
Mala/gemstone bracelets are very popular to wear from teenage to elderly, men and women in Japan. You can see them not only in the jewelry shop, but also temples and shrines.
I always wear gemstones at work or just healing purposes. From my experience, I believe gemstones have healing properties which makes me happy and I feel protected every day. I only make jewellery when my feeling is right. I cleanse my studio with Flower essence before creating and smudge with white sage before shipping all gemstone items.
