The way I started is a funny story

I told my husband that I wanted to start a hobby. He said, "Go for it."

So I went to Michael's and bought a bag full of beads and tools and came home and asked him what he thought and he said; "Do you wanna know the truth?" I said, "Yes" and he said; "it looks like a pile of crap to me, but if it makes you happy then go for it."

Unswayed by his opinion, I took my bag of stuff and returned a few days later with my first designs. When I asked him what he thought, he said, "WOW, you've found your gift. You mean to tell me that this came from that pile of crap I saw the other day?" I smiled and said, "Yep!"

And that's how Dossey Designs was born.
