Earth+Ore Jewelry was born of an admiration for nature and it's hidden treasures as well as a passion for design. My love for jewelry making started at a very young age when my mother and I learned to bead together. We had so much fun crafting together and those memories are so precious to me. The ridiculously long and wacky earrings I made back then were positively hideous, but my aunts and grandmas to whom they were gifted wore them dutifully for years to come! I later got my first job at the bead store we frequented and from there my eye for design and craftmanship skills really blossomed. I learned all about gemstones and was captivated by their beauty and the remarkable circumstances under which they are formed. From there I mainly focused on incorporating natural stones into my jewelry in a way that brought out each gem's unique qualities. I started up my own Jewelry business in 2015 as a hobby while I worked part time and went to school and it has slowly and steadily grown and evolved over many years. Now I have a family of my own and am able to design and craft full time! I hope to continue the tradition that started it all and bead with my daughter one day (when she's old enough to know that, while beads may look delicious, they are not edible!).
As for my product, I craft my jewelry by hand with astute attention to detail- carefully matching the color, pattern and shape of the gemstones in every piece and tucking each loop, tightening each jump ring and squeezing each crimp bead with care. Each piece is made with high quality, natural materials that are both beautiful and durable so it will last for years to come! I hope you love my jewelry as much as I love making it.
