Purple Turtle Co ™ is a small planet-friendly brand contributing towards various sustainability projects, such as creating free educational eco-content, beach clean-ups and sustainable design.
After originally starting as a free educational brand, we came up with the idea to start designing planet-friendly gift sets to fund the various projects we run, to help bring sustainable lifestyles and information to more people.
For full transparency, although some of our products are designed and handmade here in the UK by us, we do also partner with some suppliers for manufacturing assistance, but in those cases, we only work with suppliers who can meet our high requirements of having low waste in the supply chain. We do this by working with suppliers to design packaging and shipping solutions that involve using only recyclable and biodegradable materials.
As of today, we have an online following across social media and on our website of over 40,000 people.
Behind the scenes, we offer free consulting advice working with companies looking to become more sustainable, we create and share environmental content to help with the education and adoption of green lifestyles, and we are continuously optimising everything we do internally to keep our waste to a minimum. For each order, we also donate to Greenspark to rescue 3 plastic bottles worth of plastic from the ocean.
