Hello! I am an abstract artist from Melbourne, Australia.
I specialize in bright abstract canvas art, small lunar paintings and fine art prints.
Many of my paintings are based on my surroundings. Growing up in a dry bushy area, I love the smell of eucalyptus after it rains and the new life it brings. It is for this reason I have so many rain drop themed paintings among my abstract pieces.
Vast mountainous landscapes, lunar shapes and cosmic colours all interest and influence my art work.
I have always been inspired and amazed by colour; whether it's in fashion, interior styling or nature. In my paintings I love to experiment with different colour combinations, abstract shapes and texture. I work with ink, oil and acrylic and recently I have started offering limited edition giclee art prints and canvas prints.
My education includes a Bachelor in Fine Art and I have worked in the design field for many years as both a graphic designer and desktop publisher. Recently I have studied textile design with my main interest being screen printing. I love vintage, especially the bold mod patterns of the 1960s and mid century design.
I think my art captures a unique mix of both modern and vintage styles and works well in both environments whether it is for your home or to brighten up your office space.
