How Modern Day Miracles LLC (dba Emerald+Pine) Got Its Name

Hi! My name is Emma. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and how I chose my LLC name. In January of 2013 I became the mom of the most beautiful little boy in the world. He is everything to me. Unfortunately, immediately following his birth, my health suddenly declined and I went into renal failure. I was in a coma for about 2 weeks before I started showing improvement. I was so fortunate to be around such a great team of doctors at the UW Hospital in Madison, WI. They called me their miracle! I was still very sick, very tired, and needed to re-learn how to walk & use fine motor skills but after all that I was ALIVE. After finally being discharged from the hospital, I found that making jewelry greatly improved my dexterity and it was something I truly loved doing. So here I am now, with my very own Etsy shop, with an established LLC (Modern Day Miracles, dba Emerald+Pine) and spending all my time with my sweet children – LIFE IS GOOD.

I live in WI with my two children and rescue pup. I manage a construction company by day and let my creative side take over after I put the babies down! I enjoy kayaking and fishing - being outdoors inspires a lot of my designs!
