How Did We Get Started
Hello visitors, my name is Jenny and I am the owner of the Escential Elements and maker of non toxic home fragrance products. We can get bombarded with toxins on a daily basis and I strive to offer products that make easy swaps for those items in the home that contribute to that toxin load.
I began making candles and wax melts that were a clean burning alternative to your standard paraffin and toxic scented candles for myself, family, and members of my live sales on social media. I had a big inspiration and reason to do this other than just a passion to keep unnecessary and unwanted chemicals out of the house. One of my dogs, my sweet girl has epilepsy and the cheap synthetic scents used in most candles and home cleaning products were one of her triggers that set off her seizures. Well when I found that out everything got tossed out and replaced with cleaner options, most of which I started making myself with simple ingredients. However, I couldn't find clean candles I trusted to be safe for her and there started my journey to have comforting scents in the home without harming my sweet frenchie whom I love so much.
When the candles and wax melts began to gain popularity in my store and in the TikTok shop and I continued to research, formulate, and introduce more and more toxin free home fragrance, and perfume options most of which I had already been using myself. We continue to grow and look for ideas for more items we can replace in the home that are a healthier option and lessen the daily toxin load.
