5 out of 5 starsThe item was of great quality - you can even smell the woodiness of the case just right after opening the parcel! this is a sign that the wood is of good quality :D Cara was extremely helpful in my indecisiveness in choosing the design of the wood as well as providing her opinions that would best match my expectations! She even offered a test product to see how the engraving would turn out and i’ve never met a seller that’s willing to go miles just to make their customers happy! highly recommended - please support her small business!

RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY - USA ONLY
Contact EtchDen on Etsy within 14 days of delivery for return/exchange of unused, non-customized, & non-personalized items. Returns/exchanges are NOT accepted on custom/personalized items. Returns for buyer’s remorse, an exchange, or anything else that is not the fault of EtchDen, are accepted, but will NOT include a refund of original shipping. The buyer also covers return shipping. My shipping is labeled as "free", but it is added in to the purchase price. It is not refunded to me by the shipping service, therefore, not refunded to you. Return-only items will require a 15% fee to cover Etsy fees I paid. Items must be returned & examined before a refund is processed.
CUSTOM & PERSONALIZED ORDERS
PERSONALIZATION:
I can personalize (with letters/words) any engraved phone case on my Etsy page without an additional charge. But, I will need to be able to reach you for approval of the design proof. If I cannot reach you, it will delay the order. In most cases, I will cancel the order if I cannot reach you by the due shipment date. Personalized items cannot be refunded without fault of EtchDen. For phone cases, PLEASE be sure of the phone model you select.
CUSTOM:
I have separate listings for custom design phone cases, since this usually requires images & editing outside of simple words & letters. These cannot be refunded without fault of EtchDen. For phone cases, PLEASE be sure of the phone model you select.
PROCESSING TIME
PROCESSING:
Unless I am away, I will ship unengraved phone cases within 1 business day or same day. Engraved items depend on the design. This can be same day, up to 3 days. Most often it is 1 business day. This also depends on how late in the day it is ordered. Processing time is separate from shipping time. I do not ship on Saturday, Sunday or postal holidays.
HOW TO SEND AN IMAGE
Best Method:
• Send image by contacting through my Etsy storefront or directly from your order in your purchase history. Etsy now requires my reply before an image can be attached.
• Attach and send the image(s) in the message thread, if the file type is supported.
Last Resort Method:
• Unsupported file types can be sent to email: etchden@gmail.com.
Image Tips:
• Images can be sent before/after an order is placed, before is preferred.
• Most file types accept, vector preferred.
• Send crisp, clear images. If a photo, be sure there is good lighting.
My custom buyers can attest to the attention I put forth into making sure they like the design. But your time & mine, are precious. Please only inquire with the intent to purchase.
GIFT WRAPPING & PACKAGING
$2 GIFT WRAPPING:
For phone cases, I use a black gift box that is for phone cases. I normally do not wrap this. If you want it wrapped, let me know.
For other items, I wrap those with wrapping paper. Depends on the item shape, if it will be wrapped inside of a box. I have wedding & Christmas paper (just let me know). Otherwise, I will use a generic wrapping paper.
I do not add ribbons or bows.
TYPICAL PACKAGING FOR SHIPMENT:
Phone cases will have a plastic protective sleeve or be wrapped in tissue paper. Then most are shipped inside a plastic, waterproof bubble mailer. I do not brand my packaging.
Germany Buyers:
I am required to use an eco-friendly materials, so it will likely be a cardboard box.
ITEMS DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT
If you receive an item that appears to have been damaged in shipment, please contact me immediately with photos of the damaged item AND the packaging (I MUST see the packaging). I will need this to make a claim with the shipping carrier. If you are going on vacation during the time the item is expected to arrive, please wait until you are nearing return to make the order. Otherwise, the claim may not get approved due to the delay of bringing it up to the carrier. Therefore, I may not be willing to send you a replacement and take that loss. Neither one of us can prove this was actually the situation where it was damaged.
INSUFFICIENT ADDRESS
If you find that your order has an inaccurate address, contact me ON ETSY before I ship the item. I am not responsible if you do not tell me in time.
If you provide an insufficient address & the item is returned to me, the buyer is to cover the costs of reshipment if they still want the item. If I cannot reach you, or they no longer want the item, I will refund the order minus the shipping costs and a 15% restock fee. I will not be refunding personalized/custom items & will keep attempting to reach the buyer for reshipment. If the error is on me or the shipping service, I will take care of the reshipment cost or refund they buyer, whichever they choose.
DELAYED OR LOST SHIPMENTS
FOR U.S. BUYERS:
I am not responsible for delays of a shipping service, but I will attempt to reach them if there is a concern. If the package appears lost, allow time for their attempt to locate it before asking for a refund/replacement. Sometimes this can take a few days. If it appears the package is surely lost, Etsy or myself will refund you, or I can send a replacement.
INTERNATIONAL:
If your package is lost/delayed in your country, it would be easier if you contacted your country's postal service. I cannot call outside the U.S. without paying a hefty phone bill. If I can find another way to contact them, I will make an attempt. If it cannot be found, you will receive a refund or replacement.
