Etchfy

Hi, I’m Andy, the person behind Etchfy.

Etchfy started about five years ago in my garage, making personalised pieces for family and friends. Since then, it’s grown into my own workshop, where I design, engrave and finish orders every day.

I make all of my slate pieces from scratch myself, from cutting and preparing the slate through to engraving and finishing each one. I enjoy the whole process, especially taking a plain piece of slate and turning it into something that has a meaning behind it.

A lot of the pieces I make are gifts, keepsakes and memorials, so I know they can be more than just something you’ve bought online. Sometimes they’re for a birthday or a wedding, sometimes they’re a little reminder of someone special, and sometimes they’re simply something that someone has chosen because it feels right.

That’s why I take care over every order. I check each piece before it leaves the workshop and make sure the engraving, finish and little details are right. If something isn’t good enough to send, I won’t send it.

I try to keep things simple: good quality products, carefully engraved, made properly and packed with care.
