I got my first camera when I was about 14 years old, and immediately began taking extremely blown out macro shots of blades of grass and horses that I thought were pretty good (they weren't) and have loved photography ever since.
My parents appreciated and encouraged my natural creative spirit growing up, and I have always loved art! I After going on an international trip Fall 2012 and with the nudging of my amazing and supportive husband, I decided I would like to try to sell some photographs, which quickly grew into invitations, prints, and stationery.
On Jan 1 2013, I opened my shop, everydayATLAS. If you combine my husband's first and middle initial, my first and middle initial, and our last name initial, it spells ATLAS. We also love traveling the world, so it is a perfect name. My dog Lily is my pseudo-employee, and you might see her around. She gives me very honest opinions when I ask for advice on a new print and makes sure she is caught up on her naps while I am working.
EverydayATLAS really doesn't have a specific theme- anything goes! I love hand drawing prints in pen and bringing them digitally to life, and producing photography that inspires you to travel more.You name it, I'll figure out a way to design it.
