The High-Flying Adventures of Ammo
In 2008 all 3 lbs of cute cuddly dachshund puppy came into my life. My husband named him Ammo because he was shaped like a bullet and he had an explosive personality. He was our first dog as a married couple, and he would prove to be the love our lives.
From the beginning it was quite obvious that Ammo was something special. He loved to be photographed and would come running at the sound of my camera shutter. I began compiling thousands of photographs of him, so much so that I decided to share them with friends and family on Ammo's own Facebook page.
Ammo's adventures began to attract fans from all over the World, and his alter-ego "Super Ammo" began to emerge. We received e-mails from fans who said Ammo brought them hope, and brightened their day. In 2010 we started a blog for Ammo and his adventures began to bring laughter to many.
Flying Hero opened in 2012 as a way to share Ammo with an even wider audience. We love to brighten people's days with Ammo's happy little face and we donate a percentage of our profits to local animal rescues every year.
