Chasing down my heart ...

Sometimes, very early on in life, a person knows what and who they are in their soul. For myself, I have always known I am a poet.

But as a person grows older, things happen and, before you know it, you've wandered every path but the one you really wanted to take. That's my story.

I've been a mother, a waitress, a rose seller, a realtor, an electronic technician, a college student, a courier, a factory worker, and an editor. I have an associate degree in electronic engineering; a phlebotomy certificate of completion; and a not-sure-I'll-ever-complete-you BA degree in writing from Grand Valley State University. Yep, life is about learning methinks, and boy do I love to learn!

And yet, despite all my "roaming," I feel most at home on Etsy, a platform that has allowed a little unknown gal like me to share with others what I love best: poetry.

My wish moving forward is that you, also, might discover those special gifts within yourself that bring you the greatest joy, and use them in such a way as to promote goodness on this earth, for gosh knows, we need every smile and happy heart that we can get!
