A Life Long Love Of Stories, Turned Into Art
I've always loved getting lost in the pages of a good book. Fantasy worlds, enchanted forests, unforgettable characters, and the little details that make a fictional world feel real have always captured my imagination.
Foraging Trees grew out of that love of stories and a desire to bring a little of their magic into the everyday world.
I'm Liz — a watercolor artist, lifelong fantasy reader, and homeschooling mom. When I'm not teaching my kids or curled up with a book, you'll likely find me painting tiny worlds, dreaming up new bookish designs, or adding a little magic to the edges of a well-loved story.
My work ranges from hand-painted book edges and faux sprayed-edge designs to fantasy art prints, bookmarks, and illustrated postcards. Whether I'm painting a familiar fictional landscape or capturing a small woodland wonder, my hope is to create something that makes another reader pause, smile, and remember why they fell in love with stories in the first place.
I believe beauty matters, especially in a hard world. Art gives us little glimpses of wonder, goodness, and truth and reminds us of the beauty woven into creation by the Original Artist.
Every piece is made with care and a love for the stories we carry with us. My work is hand-drawn and hand-painted, never AI-generated.
