At Foxblossom Co., we create one-of-a-kind heirlooms and wedding accessories. Each piece is lovingly crafted in the beautiful city of Pittsburgh.
Our specialty is our original wire hangers. The wire lettering for every bridal hanger is completely sculpted by hand. No machines or stencils are used. As result, each piece is 100% unique, and with lots of different styles and color options, you can create a piece that fits your wedding vision to a tee.
We also create handmade keepsake items for bridesmaid proposals, wedding day favors/decor and bridal gifts! We love handcrafting and personalizing our products to make your wedding dreams come true.
… HOW IT ALL BEGAN ...
I never imagined I’d become a professional artist + designer — in fact, I started my career as a accountant! — but planning my own DIY wedding inspired me to return to my artistic roots and start crafting more. I was finishing up my Master of Business (MBA) at the time I was planning my wedding, and that encouraged me to turn my new passion into a business. I've always had a strong love for art, and even considered going to art school. Instead, I pursued business for a more financially stable career. But I'm thrilled to say that I've come full circle and am now able to combine my artistic side with my business skills in a job that is better than I could have ever dreamed of.
Deighan Design (now Foxblossom Co.) was born out of the romance + excitement of my own DIY wedding — and in less than a year, it had bloomed into a profitable business — attracting tens of thousands of sales and hundreds of media mentions.
… WHERE I LIVE + WORK …
Originally my work took over our entire living room until I finally decided I had to turn our guest bedroom into a craft studio. Eventually, we had to expand even further into a beautiful studio in Pittsburgh's Polish Hill that I share with my husband's off-beat retro video gaming company.
… HOW I MAKE MY MAGIC ...
My creative process? I work best in the wee hours of the night while my husband and Portuguese Water Dog snore away on the couch. I love plunging into all-out work sessions where I get messy, spread my materials everywhere and dig in for hours.
Every wire art piece is completely crafted by hand with extreme attention to detail. I know how important it is for every wedding detail to be absolutely perfect! A lot of time, love + attention goes into each and every product I create, and I hope it shows. There are many cheap options out there with lightweight hangers and flimsy wire, but rest assured that with us you are getting the very best quality possible! We use only the softest fabrics and flattering cuts for our apparel, and our accessories are on-trend for any modern wedding!
