My creative expression spans many mediums that include painting, drawing, weaving, quilts and more. My first Etsy shop focuses on my weavings and quilts since they work well together as functional household items. This shop, Genise Park Arts, has the balance of my creativity that includes my original paintings, drawings and greeting cards of my paintings.

Painting and drawing allow me the creative freedom to be spontaneous, fresh and lively with color and texture. I love to express the spirit and energy of leaves, fruit and birds through descriptive quick colorful strokes of paint or pastel. This experience in turn enhances and maintains the focus I need to plan and execute the much slower step-by-step process of weaving and quilting.

Influenced by the natural beauty of the earth, my garden gives me much inspiration for all of my creative expressions. The creative process is soul satisfying.
