The 5mm hoop is tiny and delicate. I was afraid that it would be flimsy, hard to put in my piercing, or that it would not stay put. I had a little difficulty putting it on because it is so small, but it fits perfectly and closed as it should. After wearing it several days, I’m pleased to report that it has stayed closed and is very comfortable. I’m extremely sensitive to metals and I was afraid it wouldn’t be quality gold, but it has caused no irritation whatsoever. I’m very happy and plan to order another.
