My love for ribbon and bows.
When I was very little my mum taught me how to hold a needle and thread and showed me the basics of sewing. She is very talented and I always found pleasure in creating and working with my hands because of her example and love. She made me a little sewing kit and I started collecting bits and pieces, my favourite things in the box were ribbons, I still love working with ribbon today.
Golden Beam started when my first daughter was only a baby, she had very little hair and I was always delighted to see her wearing little bows and headbands. I started making her some hair accessories and was introduced by a friend to the very soft nylon headbands. My daughter didn't even know she had a headband on because it was so soft and comfortable. Golden Beam was a way to share with other mums what I loved so much for my baby.
I am a stay at home mum and am so happy that I get to see my babies growing. I now have two adorable little girls in my life and they both share my love and enthusiasm for bows.
