Calendars & Planners for lovers of design.
Hello, I'm Michele and I started designing things I love during the Pandemic in 2020.
I'm a planner. I love a list, more importantly, I love a list on real paper!
THE NAME - Good Tuesday...
One day I was chatting with my then 6 year old, Flora, she's the one with the creative brain in the family. We were talking about stories and fairy tales - they always start with 'once upon a time'... and she said - but mum, why don't they just start with 'Once Upon a TUESDAY'.
This is where our silly name came from. The idea of questioning things. Questioning the status quo. And of course, the fact that the calendars are all about dates - and why not Tuesday!?
It’s been an amazing few years, and the name ‘Once Upon a Tuesday’ has served us well.
But now we're saying goodbye to the magic of Once Upon a Tuesday and hello to GOOD TUESDAY!
WHAT WE STAND FOR...
People, planet, profit.
We deeply feel that If we can't do business in a transparent, caring, respectful and purposeful way, I'd rather not do it at all. So we always are conscious and deliberate about every decision we make.
PEOPLE
We work with local suppliers. Our printers, for example, are just down the road, and they are a small business employing local people.
We're passionate about a happy workplace and believe everyone should be paid fairly.
PLANET
We make paper goods and know that we want to make products that add value to the world and take as little away from it as possible, so everything is printed on 100% recycled paper.
The packaging is minimal and we use recycled packaging. We consider everything we add to the parcels and keep it to a minimum - whilst still making you smile when it arrives with you.
We consider the environment in all areas... we use tea bags without plastics. We never use plastic water bottles. We buy loose fruit, and even our toilet paper is plastic-free and made from sustainable bamboo!
PROFIT
We're a small business and when you buy from us, you are supporting our small team and our families. Thank you.
