Four buddies, in the middle of the forest, dogs in tow. Just get out and clear your head. Sometimes we talk about the latest from the online world, sometimes we talk about how the last deal was cleverly arranged. And in between? It's about how you can conjure up really cool things from a simple piece of wood.
“Imagine if we threw all of that together,” one person said. A laugh, an “Imagine!” and on we go. But the idea? It stays stuck. With each individual.
After more rounds with the dogs, a few beers and a lot of thoughts in my head, it's clear: This is going to be something! And so, without any fuss, Holzpause is created. A project by four friends who simply want to combine their strengths, create something cool and, above all, have a passion for bringing cool wooden products onto the Internet.
Drei Kumpels, mitten im Wald, Hunde im Schlepptau. Einfach raus, den Kopf frei kriegen. Mal geht’s um das Neueste aus der Online-Welt, mal um die perfekte Kante an einem Stück Eiche. Und zwischendurch? Darum, wie man aus einem simplen Stück Holz etwas baut, das bleibt.
„Stell dir mal vor, wir würden all das zusammenwerfen“, sagt einer. Ein Lachen, ein „stell dir mal vor!“ – und wir laufen weiter. Die Idee bleibt hängen. Bei jedem von uns.
Nach ein paar weiteren Runden mit den Hunden, kalten Getränken und vielen Notizen steht fest: Das wird was. Ohne großes Tamtam entsteht Holzpause – drei Freunde, eine Werkstatt, klare Rollen: Holz, Design, Digital.
Seitdem bauen wir für dich kleine, zeitlose Stücke aus Massiveiche – ehrlich, robust, nachölbar. Handgemacht in Deutschland, plastikarm verpackt, direkt zu dir. Wenn wir nicht sägen oder ölen, liegt ein Hund unterm Werktisch und pennt. Passt irgendwie. 🪵
