Who we are
Our story started with a need for a special nylon strap I wanted for my Firefighting job. We made our first one and others took notice and so we started producing rescue straps "PacStrap LLC" for Fire Depts. That turned into building all sorts of different straps used for hunting and work. Then came gun slings and different styles of nylon belts with "Cobra" buckles. I was sewing a flag out of fire hose one night and our puppy kept wanting to play. We decided to take an old piece of fire hose, add some stuffing, sewed a piece of rope into it and we gave it to her to play with it. Our other dogs got jealous, so we made a few more. We decided to list them on our personal Facebook page and our friends blew up our page with requests. HoundHose was born!!! We have invested in the heaviest duty sewing equipment on the market for production. We are a two person small company making tugs as fast as we can sew. We clean everything thoroughly, and recycle rope when we can and all hose is recycled 100% of the time. We based, made and ship from North East Ohio. Were very proud of our products and feel they are better than any commercial dog tug on the market!!!!
