"From Hobby Farm to Beekeeping Enterprise: A Transformational Journey Rooted in Nature and Honey"
The journey commenced in 2008 when a hobby farm took root in the captivating Finger Lakes region of NY State. Nestled near Canandaigua Lake, the farm found its tranquil home in a serene valley, embraced by lush woods and vibrant wildlife. The founder, driven by an unwavering passion for nature and the great outdoors, embarked on an adventure that would forever intertwine with the world of honey.
An intriguing twist occurred after discovering a Beginner Beekeeping Class ad, sparking an unanticipated and immensely rewarding journey into beekeeping. With a rich legacy in the family, the passion for beekeeping fueled a rapid expansion. Beginning with just two hives, the operation flourished.
In 2010, a beekeeping supply store was established, catering to the local beekeeping community, marking the beginning of new experiences and challenges. Beginner orders surged, pushing space limits, leading to adaptive measures on the farm and eventually acquiring a warehouse.
Educational outreach became a cornerstone with the initiation of beginner beekeeping classes, emphasizing the importance of fostering a deep respect for honey bees and pollinators within the community.
By 2016, achieving EAS (Eastern Apiculture Society) Master Beekeeper certification and acquiring the Ross Rounds & Sundance Pollen Traps company in 2017, a firm establishment within the industry was secured.
In the subsequent years, business operations expanded with the acquisition of land, a storefront, and warehouse space, offering a permanent home for operations. Excited about future possibilities, a commitment to supporting local businesses, fostering community involvement, and enriching the beekeeping community guides the path.
As the future beckons, an enriching journey alongside the beekeeping community awaits. Invaluable support from patrons fuels their eagerness for the years ahead. Join in celebrating the enchantment of honeybees, and remember – Bee Happy, Bee Healthy, Bee Great!
