Hi! I’m Ian — a professional graphic designer and the founder of icdArtwork, where I create personalised wall art, custom word art prints, and photo collage gifts for all of life’s special moments.
From an early love of art and computers, I developed a passion for combining words, meaning, and design. My journey began during a university project where I recreated a map of Britain using the Olympic rings and words representing Team GB. That piece inspired me to start creating artwork that tells personal stories — and I’ve never looked back.
My first custom pieces were created as wedding gifts for friends and family — including a surprise A0 word art print for my wife on our wedding day (she cried – success!). Since then, I’ve created thousands of unique personalised gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, and more.
Every piece I make is fully customised — from the layout and colour to the wording and theme. Whether it’s a photo collage print for an 18th birthday, a family name design, or a memorial piece for a beloved pet, I love working with customers to turn memories into art.
I've even had the pleasure of working on some truly unique commissions — like designing a custom artwork using the words of a father and musician arranged in the pattern of particle acceleration tracks at CERN in Switzerland (with help from my physics-teacher wife!).
