Our Story | Premium Peel and Stick Wallpaper Designed for Your Home
Welcome to Inspiring Abode 👋
Hello! I'm Umesh, and together with my partner Priyanka, I run Inspiring Abode — a small, family-run wallpaper studio based in Jabalpur, India.
Everything in this shop — every peel and stick wallpaper, every traditional unpasted wallpaper, every large wall mural — is designed by us and printed by us, in our own studio, for your order only. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Nothing is drop-shipped. When you place an order, we print it.
For us, wallpaper has never been "just" wall décor.
It's the nursery where a baby takes their first steps. It's the dining room where families gather for birthdays. It's the reading corner someone finally sinks into at the end of a long day. It's the bedroom that becomes a quiet retreat after years of dreaming about the perfect home.
Knowing that our designs become the backdrop to those moments is what brings us to the studio every single morning.
What You Get When You Shop With Us
Beyond a beautiful wall, here's what comes with every order:
🖼️ Free digital wall preview — send us a photo of your wall and we'll show you exactly how the design will look before you buy.
📐 Custom sizing for any wall — sloped ceilings, stairwells, arches, odd corners. Send your measurements and we'll build the panels around them.
🎨 Custom colors — love a design but need it in sage instead of blush? Ask us. We'll adjust it whenever we can.
✏️ Custom design help — have an inspiration photo, a Pinterest save, or a design you saw elsewhere and can't find anywhere? Send it over. Some of our best-loved wallpapers started as a customer's message.
🧱 Two materials, honestly explained — premium peel and stick removable wallpaper for renters and quick makeovers, and traditional unpasted wallpaper for a long-term finish and textured walls. We'll tell you which one actually suits your wall, even when it's the cheaper option.
💬 Real people, before and after your order — messages here come to me or Priyanka. Not a bot, not an outsourced desk.
Our Story
Long before Inspiring Abode existed, I was working alongside homeowners, interior designers, architects, and decorators — helping them choose wallpaper for real rooms with real light and real furniture.
That work taught me something I've never forgotten: choosing wallpaper is rarely about the pattern alone. It's about scale, color, the light in the room, the wall surface, and whether the design will still feel right five years from now.
I kept seeing the same thing happen. Someone would fall in love with a design on a screen, order it, and open the box to find the scale was wrong, the color was off, or the material didn't suit their wall. It's an expensive, disheartening mistake — and almost always an avoidable one.
Priyanka and I started Inspiring Abode to close that gap: beautifully designed wallpaper, at a fair price, with the kind of personal guidance we'd want ourselves.
Our collections are drawn from nature, vintage artwork, botanical gardens, timeless interiors, and classic architecture — floral, botanical, tropical, geometric, abstract, chinoiserie, and nursery designs made to feel considered today and still lovely years from now.
Designed by Us. Printed by Us.
Unlike many wallpaper shops online, we don't outsource printing. Every order runs through our own HP Latex printer, using GREENGUARD Gold Certified, water-based, eco-friendly inks — rich color, fine detail, low odor, low VOC, and safer for homes with children and pets.
Every roll is printed for your order, inspected by hand, trimmed, rolled, and packed by our small team with the same care we'd want if it were arriving at our own door.
