5 out of 5 starsThe idea of a historical soap recipe was intriguing, and the reality didn’t disappoint. The soap bar is a good sized block, lathers well with plenty of bubbles, and smells quite nice. I haven’t smelled anything like it before, but it is pleasant, lingering on the skin without being overpowering. I can’t decide if I want to make it last as long as possible so I can enjoy it more, or if I want to use it up quicker so I can try another historical soap, because this one is so lovely.
