Frequently asked questions
🎨 Is this really hand-painted?
Yes — every portrait is 100% hand-painted with watercolor, created from scratch on premium paper.
This is NOT AI-generated, NOT a filter, and NOT a print.
You’ll be able to see real brushstrokes, soft textures, and natural color variations — something that is especially beautiful and noticeable in person.
🖌 Can I see brushstrokes？what makes it different from a print or AI generated?
Yes — and this is the magic of real art ✨
You’ll be able to see:
Soft brushstrokes and natural color flow
Subtle textures from real watercolor on paper
Slight variations that make each piece truly one of a kind
These details are hard to fully capture in photos, but in person, the artwork feels much more vivid and alive — not flat like a print.
✏️ Can I request changes or custom details?
Yes! I love customizing each piece 💛
You can request:
Add/remove collars, accessories
Combine multiple photos
Add names or short text
For more complex changes (extra pets, detailed backgrounds), a small add-on may apply.
🖼 Will I receive a proof before shipping?
Absolutely!
Once your portrait is completed, I’ll send you a detailed proof for review.
You’re welcome to request small adjustments (such as colors or minor details) before I ship the final piece.
⏳ How long does it take?
• Processing time: typically 2–7 days depending on complexity
• Shipping time:
US: 3–5 business days
International: 5–10 business days
If you have a deadline, feel free to message me — I’ll always try my best to accommodate!
📦 Where do you ship from?
All artworks are carefully packaged and shipped from my studio in Bethesda, MD.
Each piece is beautifully gift-wrapped, so it’s ready to be sent directly as a thoughtful gift.
🚚 What if my package is delayed or lost?
If there are any issues with shipping, please message me right away.
I’ll work with you to find the best solution — whether that’s tracking, replacement, or support.
🎥 Do you offer painting process videos?
Yes! Process videos are available as an optional add-on.
Please contact me before I begin painting, as this requires special setup and an additional fee.
It’s a lovely way to see your artwork come to life and makes a meaningful keepsake or gift add-on 💛
