During the work day I create sewing patterns for home sewers. All the patterns are drafted by hand and tested, before being digitised into the computer to produce a beautiful and clear multi-size pattern for you to download at home. Each pattern also comes with a guidebook written for beginners to experienced sewers, depending upon the style purchased.
Instructions are detailed and step by step, with practical hints and tips included which you can use to build your sewing and construction knowledge.
My background is in Fashion Design. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design, and a Graduate Diploma in Education. With over 20 years fashion industry experience as a designer, patternmaker, print designer & workroom manager, and experience teaching secondary & tertiary students, I’m confident you will find my patterns easy to understand and put together.
You can be assured that my sewing patterns are drafted to work for the home sewer. They are clear and concise, drawn professionally on the computer and checked for accuracy in printing and sewing up. They are then tested by multiple sewers before being released for sale.
I also collect vintage sewing fabrics, patterns and sewing & drafting books, some of which will appear in the shop as my collection overflows!
