I am a Greek Silversmith/Artist currently living in the USA,my art and trade is the Expressionist... I was part of the LA art-scene in the 80ies with KOSTAS ART: Paintings,Woodcuts,
Etchings and Monotypes.
In the 90ies I added Free People Wear Raw Style Jewelry to my resume and in 20 years time I developed the KOSTAS JEWELRY.
My designs from prints to paintings to jewelry have the power to fashionably perform in Free social events with all kinds and types of people at any given place in our world and at any given point in time,because they are spirituality true,very original,and super loaded with imagination,sensual decadence,high-end quality of materials and above all,my art and jewelry designs are dramatically saturated with having fun.
The artjewelry I came up with over many years working with wax,precious metals and cutting gems is related to techniques from my Greek past and the Free American Futures on old trades in a new time at the same time,because I did Jewelry CAD design in LA for some time...not knowing which comes first I am placing my work in The Neo Christian Freedom-Wear of Now...in a much less social world of the voluble free,I work for the private business or non-business individual powered by saying less and meaning more with a belief in quality or seeing the value in the time when the spiritual is strength in Soul Wear rather Show Wear.
’Being Here Now ‘when we assemble almost 8 billion living on this time sensitive Earth I came up with an original artwear with a very low maintenance wearability factor,a durable high quality product to outlast the temporary,this art product is made here today,in the most free enterprise nation of our world,it is made in the USA by Kostas....I am the makers and creators of what I sell.
I age the jewelry to a time that stays still...it won’t change much will stay timeless with its natural patina and its sculptural textured looks.
The made to last forever metal work,the aged dark silver or dark gold look makes it belong in the Middle Ages or Ancient Greek Time,Art Jewelry discovered in a shipwreck in the Mediterranean Sea ...
My art jewelry creations are made for people from this Earth,the people who believe in themselves,wearing Earth’s protection on their wrists,fingers or around their necks that’s my final and only Space-Time-Look I work for,engaging unique individuals to self empowerment via Earth’s Gems and Metals.
My work speaks for itself,I am just the presenter and maker of it.
