5 out of 5 starsThis was a great project! It took longer than I expected, because there are a lot of curves and seam mating to do, but the finished product was fabulous. I think I missed one topstitch step, and i would t use the same material I did for the lining (men’s dress shirt) but otherwise I am very happy with the finished product!

4 out of 5 starsI made this bag and used a stiff interfacing as well as padded interfacing to pad several areas. Unfortunately, my interfacing choice made it almost impossible to sew on my Pfaff sewing machine, and I finished sections by hand. I recommend NOT doubling the interfacing -- one layer of iron on medium interfacing will make the bag stiff enough and should work with your sewing machine.

Thank you! I'm so glad you love the pattern! I tend to recommend not printing out pdf instructions, but just reading them from the screen - that way the images are clear, whereas printing doesn't always give the best copy results.
