Tools made by a maker - for makers who care about their craft.
When I started making tools, I wasn't planning to open shop.
I simply wanted tools that felt right in my own hands - tools made with care, precision, and materials chosen for how they feel in real studio work.
What began as a personal search slowly became something more.
Other potters and makers asked about the tools, then requested their own, and over time a community of makers formed around this shared appreciation for good tools and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Every tool is made by hand in my workshop. I shape the wooden handles myself, fit each blade individually, and finish every piece so it feels natural and balanced in use. I work with carefully selected hardwoods and durable materials designed to support years of studio practice.
KavanaCraft is not a factory. It is a small workshop built around the intention that tools should serve and inspire the maker - quietly, reliably, and beautifully.
Today, these tools are used by beginners discovering clay for the first time and by professional potters refining their voice. Seeing them become part of other people’s creative process is still the most rewarding part of what I do.
Thank you for being here and for supporting handmade work,
