My passion for handcrafted jewelry started when I was a teenager. I started making handmade keychains and macrame bracelets; However, I knew there was so much more designs and different materials that I wanted to expand my knowledge. I wanted to create jewelry that will show the elegance touch actress in Hollywood movies displayed.
This is when I started to include high quality metals and more materials. I once was a shy person that used to create jewelry for myself and for immediate family members; but I overcame the fear of telling others that I make handcrafted jewelry. In 2020, when the pandemic started I began making more jewelry as a stress reliever due to the confinement of being home. After realizing that I had a large amount of jewelry made I decided to start our small handmade jewelry business.
Kay Boutique Store was founded to provide customers with outstanding jewelry made with love and care. I didn't want to do it by myself, but I'm proud to say this is a family owned business; where everyone has different roles. I personally order all our jewelry supplies to verify that we only work with gold filled, stainless steel and sterling silver metals. We are currently avoiding to work with brass, nickel, alloy and/or plastic. Our goal is that our jewelry will withhold memories that can last a whole lifetime, but with that touch of elegance and glamour that makes us happy.
