Just a girl with a simple dream and a Big God
Hey, Y'all! My name is Colbey Keele and I started this Etsy store, KeeleAndCo. I am a wife to my husband, Tyler Keele since November 2015. I decided to start this store after my husband got drafted to the Arizona Diamondbacks Minor League baseball organization. I wanted to travel with him across the country to chase his dream of professional baseball. It was hard for me to find work considering we moved to 3 different states within 8 months. Etsy has made it possible for me to do something that I love and get paid for it (what?!)
I have always been mesmerized by art. But I always told myself that I could never create art like the people around me. I listened to that lie for many years, never even trying to pick up a paint brush. I knew that God always showed His beauty to me through the talents of other people, but I never knew that He had been calling me to create as well. I started watercolor painting for about two months before opening my shop. Making gifts for friends was all I ever did. They enjoyed my paintings so much that they asked if I would start selling it to other people. I was nervous, scared and frightened at the thought of putting my "art" out on display for people to see.
The feedback I received was so amazing that I was not sure what I was so worried about in the first place. I feel like God is showing me a dream that I never knew I had through this little online store. My hope for you all is to enjoy my pieces and know that you can believe in yourself enough to let God use you to your full advantage!
